Lower priced screen protectors often use low quality glass that impedes the infrared light that is used by the FaceID sensor from being transferred through the glass, hence why low priced screen protectors often have a glass cut out for the FaceID sensor which can result in the sensor getting damaged with keys or during a fall, we have specifically used high quality glass does not impede infrared light from being transferred through the glass allow us to create a screen protector that covers the entire surface of the screen protector including the FaceID sensor.
