Instructions:
• First Use:
1.Choose the most suitable eartips. (Earbuds are shipped with M-size eartips and include S-size and L size eartips in the packaging)
2.Distinguish left and right earbuds, and adjust earbuds to fit your ears comfortably.
3.Tear off the sticker from earbuds. Put earbuds into charging case and fully charged before using.

• How to Pair:
1)Automatic Pairing
a) Simultaneously take out the two earbuds out from the charging case, then turn on Bluetooth on your device and search for “HaylouT17 R” or HaylouT17 L”, finally click it to complete the connection;
b) Wait for about 2 seconds, the device interface pops up prompting to pair the other side of the earbud, and click on the pairing connection;
c) After the first connection, the earbuds can be automatically connected to the latest paired device (Bluetooth needs to be turned on).
Note: If the connection fails, place the earbuds back into the charging case and close the case, then repeat the above operation.

2)App Connection
a) Scan the QR code on the package or below to download the “Haylou” App in the App Store or Google Play;
b) When connecting to the App for the first time, turn on the charging case without taking out the earbuds, and keep the Bluetooth of the device turned on;
c) Open the “Haylou” App, select “Add Device” on the device page, and follow the page prompts to complete the search and match.

3) Earbuds Pop-up Window Function (Only Available on Android)
a) Open the “Haylou” App and log in the App;
b) Open the earbud case, the Haylou T17 pop-up window will appear on the phone;
c) Click connect, and the pairing prompt Bluetooth and earbuds will pop up.
Complete the pairing according to the prompt;
d) The earbuds will then be paired with device’s Bluetooth and connected successfully.
Click “More Settings” on the pop-up window, the App successfully binds the earbuds.
Notes:
(A) – Whenever instructions in App diverge from the above steps, please follow the instructions in the App;
(B) – Keep the charging case and earbuds fully charged and the Bluetooth function is open on the Bluetooth device.
(C) – iOS device does not support pop-up window animation.

• How to Use:
– Play/Pause music = Click 1 time on any earbud or put on/take off the earbuds
– Play/Pause music = Clicks 1 time on R/L earbud or take off earbud
– Previous song = Clicks 2 time on L earbud
– Next song = Clicks 2 time on R earbud
– Answer/ end calls = Click 1 time on any earbud
– Reject call = Long press for 1.5s
– Voice assistant = Click 3 times on any earbud

• Operation
How to power on:
Open the charging case, earbuds will power on automatically

How to power off:
1- Place the earbuds back into the charging case to power off.
2- Leaving the earbuds without any connection for more than 5 minutes will automatically power them off.

• How to Charge:
Earbuds:
Place the earbuds back into the charging case, the earbuds indicator is always on red.
The indicator light turns white after it is fully charged and will turns off.

Charging Case Methods:
1. Using the supplied Type-C charging cable
2. Wireless charging (not included)

Charging: When the charging case is charging the red LED light will flash slowly and will turn off when fully charged.
Low Battery: Open the charging case, three white LED lights on the surface of the case will flash three times at the same time. One white LED light flashes for 30 seconds and turns off.

• FAQ:
Q1: Only one earbud emit sound:
– Eliminate previous connection records, put the earbuds into the charging case then take them out, try to reconnect.
– Try to reset the earbuds (See details in Reset Steps in the instruction manual)

Q2: Unable to charge?
Earbuds:
– Please make sure the transparent protective stickers have been removed from both earbuds.
– Make sure the earbuds or charging case has power before use.
– Make sure that the earbuds are properly placed into the charging case.
– Make sure there is no dirt on the charging pins.
– Please peel off the ear tips and put earbuds into the charging case correctly.

Charging case:
– Make sure that the cable and charging port are not defective.
– If the charging case is fully charged, the indicator will not turn on when plugging in the cable.
– Insert the cable in and out several times.
– Make sure the charging pins are in their place and haven’t lost their elasticity.

Q3: Under what conditions should I reset earbuds?
– Only one earbud works
– Earbuds cannot connect to devices
– Other abnormal work situation

Factory Resetting Steps:
a) Take out the earbuds, press and hold both Touch Control Areas for 4.5 seconds, and let go after the red light appears;
b) Press and hold the both Touch Control Areas for 11 seconds, and let go after the red and white LED lights flash alternately 2 times
(The first LED light flash is at 7 seconds, the second time is at 11 seconds);
c) Put the earbuds back into the charging case and close the cover, at the same time unpair Bluetooth record on the device;
d) Take out the earbuds, make sure that the left ear LED indicator is off, and the white LED light on the right ear flashes slowly;
e) Open the Bluetooth on the device and search for “Haylou T17 R” or “Haylou T17 L” and click to complete the connection;
f) Wait for about 2 seconds, the device’s interface pops up prompting to pair the other side of the headset will appear, click on the pair connection.
Notes:
1. Please clear previous Bluetooth connection records when you are trying to connect earbuds to other devices.
2. Before resetting, please make sure that the earbuds and charging case have sufficient power.

• How to Wear:
1. Insert the ear cap into the ear canal;
2. Hang the silicone ear pad behind your ear;
3. Hold the earbud’s body to rotate back ward;
4. Adjust to a stable and comfortable position

• Tips:
1. Before using the headset, please read the manual carefully and keep it for future references.
2. The headset need to be fully charged prior to first-time use.
3. If the headset is left unused for over two weeks, please recharge it periodically.
4. If the headset cannot be found when searching on your phone, please check whether it is in pairing mode; if left unconnected for a long while, the headset will exit pairing mode, please re-enter the mode; if a procedure error of your phone occurs, reboot it; if a procedure error of the headset occurs, reboot or reset it.

• Please manually pair this item with your smart phone for first time use. It will auto reconnect to your phone in connectivity records, if any.
• Never disassemble or modify your headset for any reasons to avoid any damages and danger.
• Do not store the headset in extreme temperatures (under 0 Degree C or over 45 Degree C).
• Avoid using the LED indicator close to the eyes of children or animals.
• Do not use this headset during a thunderstorm to avoid irregular function and increased risk of electric shock.
• Do not use harsh chemicals or strong detergents to clean the headset.
